Yoga is safe to practise daily, however we recommend giving the body a day off to completely rest and ensure balance in your daily life. Yoga is not about intensity – but consistency – so the amount of classes that suits you will differ depending on your personal goals.
Practicing yoga once a week gives you time to focus on your breathing, which in turn, allows you to be present. Being in the present moment gives you a total time-out from the rest of the world and resets your whole system. A one hour session weekly will assist to increase your blood flow, flexibility and strength, whilst increasing your oxygen and loosening up any stiff or sore muscles.
